This song, written by Jim Rado and Galt McDermott is probably one of the most important songs from my life and this recording of it, taken from a benefit for the families of 9/11 victims just months after the tragedy occurred, somehow became my first radio single. Having played Claude in the Nena Productions' cast of HAIR in 97/98, this song was my closing of the night, my death and resurrection, the discovering of my unbridled emotions; singing it made me who I am.
