about

This album is dedicated to the great audiences filled with extremely supportive music fans that are frequenting two amazing venues: Blumen Jungegger in Schwabach and the Weisses Ross in Immeldorf. I had such a good time in that part of the world, and made such amazing friends, I wanted to give something back, so after a bit of a wait, here is my love letter to the people of Frankonia...

"James Dalton continues to release exceptional homegrown music without putting on airs of the folk world chameleons. It takes more than a guitar, a flannel shirt and fedora to live this music, and Frankonia is just the latest in a multitude of independent projects that continues to keep Dalton in the Shoreworld spotlight, and as Chris Barry would say, “And the world beyond.”
John Pfeiffer-Aquarian Weekly

Frankonia has been nominated for an Asbury Music Award as well as a Jersey Acoustic Music Award, both for Album of the Year

"Anyone who has ever seen James Dalton live already knows how good this is, and everyone else is going to learn after hearing this"
Lazlo-BlowUpRadio.com

"...should celebrated in its own right not merely for the music provided but for the message it carries…"
Chris Rotolo-Speakimge.com

about

James Dalton New Jersey

James Dalton is a performer and a storyteller, a musician and a giver. He's huffed it around, reaching audiences the hard way:one person at a time, on stages and subway platforms, in living rooms and radio studios. Stomping his feet, hootin and hollerin, banging on guitars, and making mandolins weep. Sharing secrets and laughs, mixing breathtaking vocals with exciting harmonica playing ... more
