The Dancer(Live and Electric)

from by James Dalton

Some years back, the James Dalton Band, a one off collection of some of the stellar musicians that James knew got together for a support slot at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. None of them strangers to the club, it was a friendly house that seemed more like a gather of old friends than a regular concert. Some blues, some funk, country and even some Radiohead was played but there was something about the performance of this particular tune, interpreted closer to the way it had actually been written. The Dancer has surfaced on two different releases already, but here, "live and electric" it is finally realized, fuzzy white noise and all.
